4K vs. 4 year old preschool programs

Sun Prairie, Cottage Grove and Madison will all have 4K programs in 2011. 4K programs are designed to help children that have not been able to attend a good preschool gain some important basic skills before Kindergarten. They are generally play based curriculums taught by DPI certified teachers, mornings or afternoons for 2 1/2 hours per day. For families needing childcare services for the entire day, most centers offer "wrap around" daycare services or transportation to other locations.

Little Explorers offers a full day 4 and 5 year old preschool program. Our students receive advanced curriculum throughout the entire day consisting of a proper balance of structured and non structured activities, lessons and experiences taught by degreed teachers. Our goal is to give our graduating students an advantage in preparation that can accompany them throughout their elementary, high school and college education. The best part is that these activities, lessons and experiences are created to be fun and challenging utilizing the special features of our 7 acre campus and enriching the learning experience for our young explorers!
